The Design

Our Scenery brings the audience into the world of the Kit Kat Klub. It is immersive, lavish, and painterly.

The lighting of the show reflects the duality of Cabaret. It is highly unrealistic and showstopping during the numbers of the cabaret performers. 

In the sound design, the environments of the play come to life. The music is brought to a volume that is reminiscent of a live concert.

The costumes of the Kit Kat Klub members are inspired by an exploration of the gender spectrum outside of the binary. Sally in particular wears looks that feel like art pieces as marvelous and mysterious as she is.

The make-up and wigs of this production are inspired by historic drag performers of the 1920's and 1930's. These trailblazers like Bert Savoy are remembered in our show by their iconic looks.

The team has built a show that is truly a bringing together of so many artistic talents. It celbrates artists who were degraded by their oppressors. Their stories will not be erased.
